Bring musical instruments, lawn chairs, friends, and food to share. Should the weather not cooperate, we’ll head for my house instead.

This month’s regular gathering will be something a little different. Instead of meeting in a home for a potluck, a group of us will be supporting Refugee and Immigration Services by attending their 2015 Charity Gala this Saturday, February 28.
This organization provides programs and services to those who have been forced to flee their homelands, and several of us have worked with them in a professional capacity over the years. Our fellowship includes people from three home countries beyond the United States, and we are looking forward to supporting others who are coming to Mid-Missouri to find a home in a strange land. Contact Grace Vega (gracev [at] socket [dot] net) to join!
This month marks the two year anniversary of Columbia Mennonite Fellowship!
Since January 2013, we have gathered monthly to eat and sing and pray together. We’ve shared many potluck meals and sung hundreds of hymns. We’ve also shared our lives, blessing those who’ve moved away and joyfully welcoming those who have come.
We are eager to continue to welcome new people and to imagine how the spirit might lead us to be community and an Anabaptist group here in Columbia/Mid-Missouri. If you’re interested, please join us and direct others our way!
Our next potluck is this Saturday, January 31 at 6:00 p.m. For details contact Sarah: firstname.lastname@example.org.
